End Homelessness

Act Now to Restrict Executive Pay

LINK:
Please, sign our petition today:

As a taxpayer, I am outraged that CEOs, many of whom work for companies receiving money from the financial bailout, are receiving massive salaries, bonuses and perks.

I, along with Public Citizen, am calling upon the Treasury Department to devise an effective cap on executive pay and restructure executive compensation - and create a plan that does not contain loopholes and one that can be implemented swiftly.

I ask you to resist pleas from lobbyists to ease these pay restrictions - they are a crucial part of fixing financial regulation so we don't have an economic crisis like the current one again.

Thanks for the compliment, Andrea ... but I cannot claim credit for the words of this post.
I doubt if I would have been as PC or diplomatic as Public Citizen.

Personally, I think these execs that made such a mess should be prosecuted, fined to pennilessness, fired and committed to mental institutions for criminal insanity and/or required to spend the rest of their lives working in homeless shelters and soup kitchens for the poor, chopping vegies (once they are rehabilitated enough to no longer be a danger to others, that is).
