Entertainment with a Conscience

Virgin is going where few have gone before: combining goodwill and entertainment. In other words, volunteer 13 hours to help the homeless and you might be a 'Free I.P.' at Freefest 2009 (August 30, 2009 in Columbia, Maryland).
Great idea, right? The concert line-up is solid and it looks like a fun day. More importantly, it's awesome to see Virgin continue their work to raise awareness about youth homelessness with such a refreshing new approach.
Check out the Freefest site for more information.

I can remember thew time that I had a virgin mobile phone as the only means of communication with the outside world. Even being a victim of circumstance in Georgia my virgin mobile was there for me.
The service that is offered by virgin mobile seems to surpass any other cellular service provider when progression and modernization is expressed. Text-to-landline I thought when introduced by virgin mobile was the shit. I'd send all kinds of text messages to people just to see what type of response they would give me as to the message and the type of call that was being placed to them.
It's just like a 'Go' phone it only costs $20 to start service and your good to go.
Something to keep in mind if the recession is bringing a cloud of financial doubt to your budgeting practices.

Wow - what an inspirational idea! We love seeing companies create innovative ways to make a difference, particularly when they are raising awareness about the changing face of homelessness.
